Seth Curcio is an artist, curator and publisher, based in San Francisco, CA. He co-founded the DailyServing website in October of 2006, and since has acted as the publisher and managing editor, driving both the content and function of the site.
From 2005-2009 Curcio served as curator and director of Redux Contemporary Art Center in Charleston, SC. Redux is an experimental non-profit gallery, studio, and education center, which opened in 2002 and is located in a 6,000 square foot warehouse. Recent curated exhibitions include The Constructed Image, The Sun Machine Is Coming Down,DALEK: Broken, Beaten and Buried, and 1000 DAYS.
Curcio regularly contributes to Beautiful/Decay Magazine and Art21 online, and is a resident studio artist at Root Division in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Catherine Wagley is a freelance writer based in Los Angeles. She studied art and literature at DePaul University, Grinnell College, and Claremont Graduate University.
Wagley regularly contributes to Artslant, D/visible, Swindle and F&A Magazine, as well as a handful of other arts-focused print and web publications. She is an avid fan of Frieze Magazine, UBU Web, X-Tra, and NYFA Current, all of which she recommends to any art-eager readers.

Arden Sherman is a current M.A. candidate in the Curatorial Practice program at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in South Carolina where she studied sculpture and Latin American studies. She is currently an intern at Headlands Center for the Arts and is a member of the curatorial collective, NAIL.
In her free time, Arden enjoys traveling in Latin America, biking with friends, collecting antiques, and planning unforgettable parties.

Rebekah is currently pursuing her M.A. in Contemporary Art at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. She graduated from College of Charleston Magna Cum Laude in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History. She began writing for DailyServing in January 2008.
Rebekah also participates in podcasts and blogs for Brooklyn is Watching, a relational art project operating out of Jack the Pelican Presents in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She volunteered at this year’s Armory Show and has covered Art Dubai and the Sharjah Biennial for DailyServing.

Benjamin Bellas is an artist living and working in Chicago. He received his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited widely internationally & nationally at various museums, galleries, and institutions including Redux Contemporary Art Center, Charleston, SC; Contemporary Artists Center, North Adams, MA; ARC Gallery, Chicago, IL; Contemporary Istanbul, Istanbul; Track 16, Los Angeles; la Space, Hong Kong; Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago; Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. Bellas is also the recipient of a 2007 Illinois Arts Council Artist Grant.

Sasha M. Lee is currently the Associate Editor & Publicist for Beautiful/Decay Magazine. In addition to print articles, Sasha also contributes a weekly artist interview on Beautiful/Decay’s online magazine, Anthology. She has worked in two major museums, including acting as an Educator at the Armand Hammer Museum and interning at the MOCA via the J. Paul Getty Scholarship program. She has also worked as a Gallery Assistant at two commercial art galleries, including Black Dragon Society. Sasha graduated in 2006 from UCLA, with both departmental and latin honors. She received her BAs in both Art History and Studio Art, and the Ingram Scholarship for her Honors Research project.
Sasha is also a freelance writer, undertaking projects in collaboration with and for artists. Most recently, she wrote the catalogue introduction to artist Matthias Van Arkel’s monograph. Her portfolio is available at her website, Sashamlee.com.

Edy Pickens was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her interest in the visual arts began at a young age and continued throughout her formal education. Pickens received a B.A. in studio art from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA and an M.F.A. in painting from the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Currently, she teaches art at the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, CA and is the director of Camp Monkey Muffin in Culver City, CA. In addition to teaching art and writing for Daily Serving, Pickens paints, plays music, and rides her horse.

Julie Henson is a visual artist and arts writer based in San Francisco, CA. She is currently a MFA candidate in painting and drawing at the California College of the Arts and graduated from the College of Charleston in 2005 with a double major in Art History and Studio Practice. Henson serves as a freelance copy editor for DailyServing.com and assisted with two recent DailyServing book projects, The Sun Machine is Coming Down, featuring the work of Matt Philips and Josef Kristofolletti, and Broken, Beaten and Buried, featuring the work of DALEK.

Allison Gibson is a Southern California based freelance writer, Associate Editor of DIGITAL Photographer Magazine, and a frequent contributor to Beautiful/Decay and art ltd. She earned her B.A. in Art History, Magna Cum Laude, from California State University Channel Islands. She has also worked extensively in the contemporary art world at the Nathan Larramendy Gallery in Ojai, CA and in New York at the PULSE Contemporary Art Fair. When she’s not writing or viewing art, she is developing an ongoing initiative conducting art projects with children in the orphanages of Baja, Mexico and traveling around the world at every opportunity. Kelly Nosari graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She was awarded a Master’s of Science in Modern Art: History, Curating and Criticism at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland with a focus in contemporary art. She is interested in discursive art practice that engages with the condition of globalization and wrote her dissertation on this topic. Kelly has notably covered the Venice Biennale and the Miami Art Fairs in her work for DailyServing.com.

Alice Savorelli studied art history, media and communication at Universita di Bologna and Middlesex University, and received her Master of Arts in modern art history from University College London. She has worked in television production for the Italian broadcasting company Rai. She is a freelance writer currently based in Northern Italy, and contributes to Italian and foreign print and web publications. She currently writes about art for DS, Artnet and Art Papers.

Noah Simblist is an artist and writer based in Dallas and Austin. He has written for ART LIES and Art Papers magazines as well as web based publications such as Cablegram, Glasstire, Zerodegreesart and …might be good. He was the director of Garner Tullis print publishing in New York and curated Abstraction/Construction at SOIL gallery in Seattle and Collecting and Collectivity at Conduit Gallery in Dallas (part of a series of events including lectures and symposia). He is an Associate Professor of Art at SMU and is currently pursuing a PhD in art history at the University of TX, Austin.

Aimée Reed earned her Master of Arts in art history from San Francisco State University, focusing on spatial theory and the previously marginalized artist. She has worked with a variety of artists and curators including LeFalle Curatorial; Chinati Foundation in Marfa, TX; Museum of African Diaspora, San Francisco, CA; Hosfelt Gallery, San Francisco/New York; and juried Bay Area Currents 2008, at the Oakland Art Gallery. Currently she is the Curator of Exhibitions at the Rena Bransten Gallery in San Francisco and serves on the selection committee for the J.B. Blunk Residency, Inverness, CA.
